Stody Estate Trail Run

Holt, United Kingdom • 1 Mar 2026

Course and Distances

The event takes place on trails through the normally private Stody Estate in North Norfolk. The course goes through woodlands and fields, with a couple of inclines. Participants can choose from three distances: 4 km, 8 km, and 12 km.

Event Details

The event uses chip timing and provides exclusive eco-friendly medals. Water stations are available on the course. A free event parking area is located in a topped field next to the Hunny Bell pub in Hunworth, with car sharing encouraged.

After the race, refreshments including bacon rolls, snacks, cakes, and hot drinks are available at Hunworth Village Hall. Finishers can also purchase a sports T-shirt for collection on the day.

Spectators are welcome. Toilets are available at the Village Hall, with potential facilities at the start/finish line subject to weather. A baggage drop facility is provided, though it is not manned. Dogs are not permitted on the course but may attend the event if kept on a short lead. The routes can become very muddy.

Entry Information

Entry has age restrictions: all entrants must be at least 8 years old. Participants under 12 can only enter the 4 km route and must be accompanied by an adult. Age categories for results and prizes are defined for junior and senior races across the three distances. A special team rate is offered for teams of 6 runners.

All funds raised go to Break, a charity supporting young people in care. Free charity places are available for those willing to raise a minimum sponsorship of £50.

Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred, but transfers to another runner are available until a specified date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
