Event Overview
The Run Sandringham 24 is a 24-hour trail race held at the Sandringham Estate, the country retreat of the Royal Family. The event takes place over three days, featuring a main 24-hour race and a free children's race.
Race Format
Participants can enter as a solo runner or as part of a relay pair or team of up to 12 runners. The goal is to complete as many laps of a 5-mile course as possible within 24 hours. Solo runners must be 21 years or older, though those under 20 are permitted to enter solo with a maximum mileage of 27 miles. Runners can choose to run as many or as few laps as they wish during the open 24-hour period.
Location and Facilities
The start, finish, and a large event village are located within the Sandringham Estate. The scenic route offers views of the estate, Norfolk countryside, and royal parkland. Onsite facilities include camping (with allocated pitch sizes for different team sizes), parking, toilets, hot showers, food and drink vendors, a bar, and live music and entertainment. Campervans and motorhomes are permitted in a designated area.

Other event features include chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal, and event photography available for purchase. A sports massage service and onsite yoga sessions will be available. The event is licensed via the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
