Run Sandringham 24 (13–14 June 2026)

Run Sandringham 24 is a 24 hour trail running relay event held at Sandringham Estate. The event features a 24 hour solo option (minimum age 17) and a free kids race during the weekend. The race is chip timed; all runners receive a bespoke medal and goodie bag. Trophies are awarded to the winning male and female, with additional team prizes and a premium memento for any solo runner completing more than 100 miles in the 24 hour period.

Course, facilities and rules

The course runs mainly on trails through parkland and surrounding estate, with some sections on roads that remain open to traffic. The route is marshalled and clearly signposted, and it is narrow in places. A water/support station is provided on course at approximately 2.5 miles. Medical teams are present onsite. Bone-conducting headphones are permitted provided marshal instructions can still be heard; in-ear headphones are banned under UK Athletics rules. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.

The event village includes camping and facilities and opens from Friday. The organisers promote a plastic-free approach and ask runners to use refillable bottles. Refunds are not available; transfers to another runner are permitted until 31 May 2026. Ample parking is available at Sandringham Estate off the B1440; organisers accept no responsibility for vehicles or contents. Photos and video will be taken on the day.
