Event overview

The Sproul 10K takes place June 20, 2026, at the Western Clinton Sportsman's Association Clubhouse, 161 Sportsman's Lane, North Bend (Hyner), Pennsylvania. The race is part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series - Slate Division; a newly added 5K is part of the Sandstone Division. Registration is limited to the first 400 entrants and closes June 1 at 11:00 pm. There are no race-day sign-ups. The event policy states no refunds, no deferrals, no bib switches, and no bandits. Dogs are not allowed on the course. All registered runners receive a technical shirt and a post-race meal.

Course and features

The course runs through the mountains of Sproul State Forest and includes about 3 miles of climbing to the top of McCloskey Mountain followed by roughly 3.5 miles of downhill to the finish. The route includes vistas, stream crossings, and technical single-track sections. The race is regularly described as among the more demanding 10K courses in Pennsylvania.
