The Sproul 10K, held annually in Hyner, Pennsylvania, is renowned as one of the toughest 10K trail runs in the state. The challenging course features a 3-mile uphill climb to the summit of McCloskey Mountain, followed by a fast 3.5 to 3.7-mile downhill descent. Runners experience scenic vistas, stream crossings, and technical single-track trails through the Sproul State Forest.
The event is part of the Rocksylvania Trail Series and is hosted at the Western Clinton Sportsman's Association Clubhouse. Participants receive a technical shirt and post-race meal. The race limits entries to 400 runners, with no race-day sign-ups or refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
