Blood Root Ultra - Riverside Farm, Pittsfield, Vermont (June 23–26, 2027)
Blood Root Ultra is a multi-day trail event held at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont, as part of the Spartan Summer Farm Experience. The race takes place in the foothills of the Green Mountains and uses trails in and near the Green Mountain National Forest. The course includes steep climbs and varied terrain.

- 200 Miler
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 10 Miler
The event is organized as a self-supported ultra. Aid stations are available with water, electrolytes, and limited nutrition. Current planning lists three aid stations on Riverside Trails and four to five aid stations or checkpoints on the Bloodroot Trail. Participants must provide their own labeled drop bags, hydration, nutrition, and required gear. Drop bag access is provided by distance: the 50M has drop bag access at miles 0, 30, and 40; the 100M and 200M have drop bag access approximately every 10 miles. Drop bags are collected at check-in and transported to the designated aid station or drop bag location.
Pacers are not allowed for any distance. Headlamps are required for the 50M, 100M, and 200M and may be required for anyone still on course later in the day. Participants must check out with race staff at the finish and return timing chips. Additional race rules include no dogs, no littering, and no course cutting.
