Blood Root Ultra
Blood Root Ultra takes place June 23–26, 2027 at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont as part of the Spartan Summer Farm Experience. The event uses trails in the foothills of the Vermont Green Mountains and the Green Mountain National Forest.

The course includes steep climbs and varied trail terrain. The race is structured as self support with aid stations offering water, electrolytes, and limited nutrition. Current aid station planning notes three stations on Riverside Trails and four to five stations or checkpoints on Bloodroot Trail.
Drop bag access is provided by distance: 50M drop bags at miles 0, 30, and 40; 100M and 200M drop bags approximately every 10 miles. Participants are responsible for their own labeled drop bags, gear, nutrition, and hydration.
Race procedures emphasize safety. Pacers are not allowed for any distance. Headlamps are mandatory for the 50M, 100M, and 200M distances and may be required for participants remaining on course later in the day. Participants must check out at the finish or with official staff and return timing chips. Registration includes an event t shirt and finisher medal.
Camping options include free dispersed camping in the Green Mountain National Forest. Participants arrange their own travel and lodging. Rutland airport is listed as the nearest commercial airport. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
