The Solstice Saunter is a 5 mile trail run held on Monday 21 June 2027 on the Bolton Abbey Estate near Skipton. The event raises funds for Sue Ryder and is organised as a single lap on multi terrain, hilly trails. The course is chip timed and is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Entry options include on-site and virtual places. Virtual entrants run a 5 mile route of their choice on the same day and are posted a bespoke medal in advance. Participants who select the applicable on-site ticket also receive a bespoke Solstice Saunter medal. The event is supported by the Ecology Building Society and is free of single use plastic bottles.

Facilities at the event include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race headquarters is a field across the river from the Cavendish Pavilions. Parking is included in the event price and on-site entrants are issued a car parking pass.

A classic AM fell race in Ingleton held during the town gala, covering 11 km 6.8 mi with 600 m of ascent. The route uses public footpaths to the Ingleborough summit and returns to the village.

A 50 miles, 5,500 ft circuit through Wensleydale and Swaledale with an ascent of Great Shunner Fell. Walkers and runners complete the route within 22 hours; electronic trackers are used and participants must be 18 or older.

A 36 mile point-to-point ultra from Clitheroe Castle to Lancaster Castle with chip timing, live tracking, six checkpoints and mandatory kit. Pre-registration only, age 18+, entry fee £65 and a 10 hour maximum time limit.
