2026 Smoketown Brewery 5k and 10k

The event offers two distances near Smoketown Brewery in Brunswick, MD. Points scored at the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series and toward the Sippin Series. The event benefits Wear blue: run to remember, a national non profit running community that honors military service and supports veterans, families and civilians.

Course routing is scenic and described as a light gravel dirt path that is basically flat. Each distance is an out and back. Water stations are limited on the route, so participants are advised to carry their own water. The 10 km course includes three water stations at approximately mile markers 0.6, 3.1 and 5.6. The 5 km course includes two water stations at approximately mile markers 0.6 and 2.5. Gatorade is available at some stations. Port a johns are located near the parking lot.

Walkers are welcome. A virtual race option is offered. Packet pickup is available at the event and organizers recommend arriving about one hour before a scheduled race to check in. Race day registration is possible but shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for late entries.

Participants receive a glass of beer, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt and chip timing. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to top finishers in standard age categories.
