Event overview

The 2026 868 Estate Vineyards 5k & 10k takes place on July 25, 2026 at 868 Estate Vineyards in Hillsboro, VA (14001 Harpers Ferry Rd.; lat/long 39.232196, -77.738960). The event offers two distances:

• 5k
• 10k

The course is a cross-country route around the vineyard property with many hills. The 10k consists of two laps of the 5k route. A virtual race option is available.

Race details and services

Registered runners receive one glass of wine from the vineyard, a finisher medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before July 15; extras will be ordered for later registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5k and $50 for the 10k until July 15, with higher fees thereafter; prices increase by $5 on race morning.

Water stations: three on the 10k course at about miles 1.55, 3.10 and 4.65; one on the 5k course at about mile 1.55. Port-a-johns will be on site. Packet pickup is available at the event; organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the event to check in. Race day registration is available, but shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed.

Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group prizes. Live race results and runner tracking are provided, and photos taken by staff will be posted on social media after the event.
