Semerwater Stomp

Semerwater Stomp is a 10.2-mile (16.4 km) trail race staged in Semerwater, Raydale, North Yorkshire, and organized by DalesRunner. The spectacular finale to the short course series starts and finishes in the heart of Raydale, with runners looping from Semerwater through Stalling Busk, fording to Marsett, then climbing Wether Fell and skirting Weather Fell before returning to Semerwater. The course mixes hard-packed footpaths, a short road section and grassy trods, and is fully marked with tape and signs. Highlights include well-stocked aid stations with vegan and gluten-free options, a post-race hot meal and cakes, supportive marshals, GPX/map availability, and a finishers neck tube option. Two route options across the Yorkshire Dales from Cracoe Village Hall for walkers and runners, with staffed checkpoints and a finish meal. Entries are limited to 125 and a waiting list operates when the event fills.

A short but demanding fell race on Ilkley Moor covering 8 km with 401 m of ascent, held under FRA rules. Pre-entry and limited on-day places are available, entry fees start at £8 and the event has a 400 runner limit.
