Event Overview

The Dashing Dog Charity Run - North is a running event organized by Saturn Running along the River Wear near Durham. The event aims to raise funds for local dog rehoming centers. A £2.00 surcharge is added to every race entry, with 100% of this amount going to the charities. There is also an optional £3.00 donation add-on for which participants receive a 'Doggie' pin to attach to their medal ribbon; this donation is matched by Saturn Running. An additional 10% of the event's profits are also donated.

Shorter turn-back points for 3 km and 5 km distances are available within the lap to accommodate younger runners and UK Athletics age-distance rules.
