Run Tasmania Stage Race
Run Tasmania Stage Race is a four-day trail running stage race held from 25 to 28 November 2026 in Hobart and south‑east Tasmania, including the Tasman Peninsula. The event stages run across a sequence of distinct landscapes over four consecutive days.
Day 1 uses coastal trails near Kingston with ocean views and native bushland. Day 2 moves to the alpine terrain of kunanyi / Mount Wellington with rocky ascents and broad vistas. Day 3 passes through the Tasman Peninsula rainforest near Fortescue Bay among large ferns and tall trees. Day 4 finishes on the clifftops at Cape Raoul, where cliffs fall about 300 metres to the Southern Ocean.
Two course options are offered:
- Devil long course: 15-25 km per day, 88.5 km total
- Quoll short course: 10-23 km per day, 67.5 km total
Event logistics are coordinated by the organiser and include event hotels, bus transfers, meals and competitor services. Entries are limited to 300 runners. The organiser describes target participants as first timers exploring a stage race format, experienced multi‑day runners, adventure seekers, and social runners who value shared stages and communal evenings.
