Run Tasmania Stage Race

The Run Tasmania Stage Race is a four-day trail running event held in Tasmania. It takes place from 25 to 28 November 2026.

The course focuses on varied landscapes around Hobart and the Tasman Peninsula. The event is structured over four days, each themed around a distinct environment:

  • Day 1: Coastal trails near Kingston.
  • Day 2: Alpine terrain on kunanyi / Mount Wellington.
  • Day 3: Rainforest on the Tasman Peninsula near Fortescue Bay.
  • Day 4: Clifftop running at Cape Raoul.

Runners can choose between two course options:

  • The "Devil" Long Course: covers 15–25 km per day, totaling 88.5 km.
  • The "Quoll" Short Course: covers 10–23 km per day, totaling 67.5 km.

The event includes coordinated logistics such as event hotels, bus transfers, and meals. The first two nights are based in Hobart, and the final two nights are on the Tasman Peninsula. Participation is limited to 300 runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
