Run Tasmania Stage Race is a four-day trail running stage race held from 25th to 28th November 2026 in Hobart and south-east Tasmania, including the Tasman Peninsula. The event uses a two-location format: two days of stages around Hobart and two days on the Tasman Peninsula. Event logistics such as hotels, bus transfers, meals and services are pre-organised. Entries are limited to 300 runners.

Race details

The race offers two course options with daily stage distances and total distances:

  • Devil long course - 15-25 km per day, 88.5 km total.
  • Quoll short course - 10-23 km per day, 67.5 km total.

Stages pass through four distinct landscape types: coastal trails near Kingston, alpine terrain on kunanyi / Mount Wellington, rainforest near Fortescue Bay, and clifftop terrain at Cape Raoul. The Cape Raoul stage includes sea cliffs that descend about 300 m to the Southern Ocean. The event includes a private-property finish area on the Tasman Peninsula.
