Run Tasmania Stage Race

Run Tasmania Stage Race is a four day trail running stage event held 25 to 28 November 2026 around Hobart and south-east Tasmania, including the Tasman Peninsula. The race covers varied terrain across four distinct daily environments: coastal trails, alpine peaks, rainforest and clifftops.

Day locations include Kingston for coastal trails, kunanyi / Mount Wellington for alpine running, rainforest near Fortescue Bay on the Tasman Peninsula, and the clifftop finish at Cape Raoul with 300 metre sea cliffs. The event combines on‑trail running with nights in town and a wilderness retreat on the peninsula.

There are two course options:

• Devil Long Course: 15-25 km per day, 88.5 km total
• Quoll Short Course: 10-23 km per day, 67.5 km total

Event logistics are coordinated by the organiser and include event hotels, bus transfers, meals and participant services. The event material also identifies several participant groups including first timers, experienced multi-day runners, adventure focused participants and those who value the social aspect of a stage race.
