Trail Running calendar near Hobart 2025-2026

Take on scenic trails at the Bruny Island Ultra Marathon on 29 November 2025, with rewarding 42.2 km and 64 km options. Run solo or in a relay team of up to 10 people, and bring the family as the event welcomes children from age 10.

Kunanyi Mountain Run is a three day trail festival in Nipaluna Hobart with races from kids runs to a tough 66 km Ultra and 46 km Alpine Marathon. Visit the runHub for expo, food, cultural events and scenic on course views.

Join the Russell Falls 6.2 km trail run on 23 August 2026 and soak up Tassie scenery. Run past waterfalls and towering trees along a mostly wheelchair accessible trail, with online registration and official results after the race.

Take on a scenic 17.6 km trail loop on Bruny Island, starting and finishing at Jetty Beach with coastal views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Partridge Island. Spots are limited and on the day registration is required.
