Rombalds Stride is a 23 Miles trail event starting and finishing in Guiseley. The route goes via Esholt, Baildon, Ilkley, Burley Woodhead and Menston, and passes over Rombalds Moor, Ilkley Moor and Otley Chevin. The course is hilly, run as a single lap, and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 550 participants.

Facilities and entry

Toilets will be available at the start and finish. Water stations and refreshments are provided along the route; there are no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage store. Participants are asked to bring a cup to reduce plastic use. Organisers will provide a route description and map references by email and aim to make a GPX file available close to the event.

Minimum age for entry is 18, or 12 for members of the Scout or Guide association; scout or guide entries should include group name and district. LDWA members should include their membership number. Entry on the day is not available. Standard fees listed are: Standard Entry £25.00; LDWA members £23.00; Scout/Guide members £23.00.
