Rattlesnake Dick takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Cool, California. The event is presented by North Fork Clothing and includes the following distances:

Every participant receives a North Fork Clothing race shirt. Official finishers who complete their distance within the time limit receive a weighted finisher's medallion. Top-three men and top-three women in each distance receive custom three-dimensional trophies. Trekking poles are allowed. Course and logistics

All races start and finish at the Cool Staging Area, 7200 Saint Florian Court, Cool, CA 95614. Packet pick-up is available early on Friday, March 20 at the Placer County Visitors Bureau & California Welcome Center in Auburn, and race-morning pickup is at the race start. Parking fees are not included in registration; day use passes or Golden Poppy Pass display is required. Volunteers will direct parking to the Day Use Lot or overflow on Haul Road.

Reported elevation change for each course:

  • 50K: 4,700 ft gain / 4,700 ft loss
  • 25K: 2,100 ft gain / 2,100 ft loss
  • 10K: 1,060 ft gain / 1,060 ft loss

The 50K includes a 10-hour finish cut-off with mandatory intermediate cutoffs at Rattlesnake Bar and Portland Avenue. The 25K has a 10-hour cut-off. The 10K has no cut-off.
