Course, logistics and awards
Elevation gain and loss for each course: 50K 4,700/4,700 feet, 25K 2,100/2,100 feet, 10K 1,060/1,060 feet. Aid stations are placed along each course; the 50K includes full aid stations at Mile 3.1, 7.7, 16.2, 24.7, and 29.3 and water-only stations at Mile 10.2 and 22.2. The 25K and 10K have specified full aid stations and turnarounds noted on course maps.
Packet pick-up options include an early pick-up on Friday, March 20 (3:00–7:00 PM) at the Placer County Visitors Bureau & California Welcome Center in Auburn, and race-morning pick-up on Saturday, March 21 (6:00–8:00 AM) at the race start. Parking fees are not included in registration; participants must display a Golden Poppy Pass or purchase a day use pass ($10 exact cash). Every participant receives a race shirt; finishers under 10 hours receive a weighted finisher medallion. Top-three women and men in each distance receive custom trophies.
