Race for Life Pretty Muddy Glasgow

Ferniegair, United Kingdom • 13 Jun 2026

Glasgow Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Strathclyde Country Park. The start and finish are on tarmac and the course follows a flat route around Strathclyde Loch. The route begins by the Watersports Centre, goes to the north end of the loch, returns down the eastern shore and finishes by the Sandy Beach car park.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage numbers on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in Pretty Muddy. Marshals are present on the course to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed. Pretty Muddy Kids events are available separately for children aged 12 and under.

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. Car parking is extremely limited and delays are possible. Blue Badge parking is available close to the start. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available. Spectators can access the full route via an adjacent path that is wheelchair and pushchair friendly, but the event itself is not suitable for wheelchair users. There are no official bike racks near the Watersports Centre and electric charging points are in the Water Sports Centre car park.

Prices and fundraising information are published for the event. The minimum fundraising target is £50. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support resources and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
