Glasgow Pretty Muddy 5k

Glasgow Pretty Muddy is a 5k obstacle course around Strathclyde Loch at Strathclyde Country Park. The route is flat and mainly on tarmac, starting by the Watersports Centre, heading to the north end of the loch, then returning along the eastern shore and finishing near the Sandy Beach car park. Obstacles involve climbing, crawling and sliding, and marshals are available to assist or direct participants.

The event is open to people aged 13 and older. Pretty Muddy Kids events are offered separately for children aged 12 and under. Wave starts run every 15 minutes to manage numbers on course. The minimum fundraising target is £50.00. Entry fees listed are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. A spring sale offers 50% off entry with code SPRING26 until 19 April 2026.

Facilities at the venue include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs, bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs, though spectators can access the full route via an adjacent path that is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Blue badge parking will be available close to the start line. Public transport options include a bus stop on Strathclyde Road and train stations approximately a 25 to 30 minute walk from the start. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
