Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half

The event is a weekday head-torch trail running event on Tuesday 24 March 2026, centred at Swinsty Moor Car Park. It is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons and follows trails around Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs. The main distance is a half marathon run over reservoir trails. The event has a maximum of 150 entrants and an entry fee of £15. Entries open 30 November 2025 and close 23 March 2026. Final competitor instructions will be emailed to entrants the week before the event.

Race details and practical information

  • Half Marathon - two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
  • 10 km - one lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
  • 5 km - one lap of Swinsty Reservoir.

Climb for each distance is listed as 800 ft for the half, 400 ft for the 10 km and 200 ft for the 5 km. Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. Toilets are available in the car park. The car park is pay and display; the stated charge is £3 for six hours (card only). The course will not be taped. Required kit includes a head torch and a mobile phone with the race director contact stored. Water will be available at the gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. The finish is at the edge of the woods before the road back to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal. Results will be published online.
