Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half takes place on 24 March 2026 and is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons. The event is based at Swinsty Moor Car Park, North Lane, LS21 2NP. Entry fee is £15.00. Entries open on 30 November 2025 and close on 23 March 2026. Minimum age is 16 or older. Maximum entrants are 150; there were 3 participants entered at the time of listing.

Course and logistics

Distances:

  • Half Marathon (two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs)
  • 10 km (one lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs)
  • 5 km (one lap of Swinsty Reservoir)

Approximate climb: 800 ft for the half, 400 ft for 10 km, 200 ft for 5 km. The course will not be taped. Registration is at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. Toilets are located in the car park. Parking is pay and display: £3 for six hours, card only.

A head torch is listed on the kit list. A mobile phone with the race director’s number stored, kept switched on, is requested. Water will be available at the Punk Panther gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. The finish is at the edge of the woods before crossing the road to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal. Final competitor instructions will be emailed to entrants the week before the event. Results will be published online.
