Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half

The event is a headtorch trail running event on Tuesday 24 March 2026, based at Swinsty Moor Car Park, North Lane, LS21 2NP. It is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons and offers multiple route options around Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs. Maximum entrants are limited to 150 and the published entry fee is £15.

Distances:

  • Half Marathon: Two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs; climb about 800 ft.
  • 10 km: One lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs; climb about 400 ft.
  • 5 km: One lap of Swinsty Reservoir; climb about 200 ft.

Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. Toilets are available in the car park and it is a pay and display car park with a £3 charge for six hours, card payment only. The course will not be taped. Competitors are required to carry a head torch and a mobile phone with the race director’s contact stored and switched on for the duration of the event. A short race brief will be given at registration once registration closes. Water will be available at the gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. The finish is at the edge of the woods before the road to the car park and every finisher receives a medal. Final competitor instructions will be emailed to entrants in the week before the event.
