Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half

Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half is a head torch trail event held at Swinsty Moor Car Park, around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs. The event offers multiple distances and limited entry.

Distances available:

  • Half Marathon: two laps around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs
  • 10 km: one lap around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs
  • 5 km: one lap of Swinsty Reservoir

Climb is listed as approximately 800 ft for the half marathon, 400 ft for the 10 km and 200 ft for the 5 km. Maximum entrants are 150 and the minimum age is 16 on race date. The entry fee is £15. Entries are pre-event only; entries on the day are not accepted.

Facilities and logistics include a pay and display car park at Swinsty Moor Car Park with a charge of £3 for six hours, card payment only, and toilet facilities in the car park. Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. The course will not be taped. Water will be available at the gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. The finish line is at the edge of the woods before the road crossing to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal.

Competitors are asked to carry required kit, including a head torch and a mobile phone with the race director contact stored. Final competitor instructions will be emailed the week before the event.
