Logistics and rules

Capacity is 450 runners total, with 150 spots per distance. Registration is first come, first served and the 2026 registration opens on December 1, 2025 at 8:00 pm. A waitlist is maintained through Race Roster; waitlisted runners are charged only if selected and have a limited time to accept. No refunds are offered; entries may be deferred up to midnight EST on April 15 and deferrals can be carried over for a maximum of two years.

Runners may transfer distances or request deferrals up to midnight EST on April 15; moving to a longer distance requires payment of the difference and there is no refund when moving to a shorter distance. Bibs generally cannot be transferred because of the waitlist system, with an exception allowing transfers to grandparents over age 70. Each loop includes three aid stations offering water, electrolytes, snacks and some hot options. There is a 5:00 pm cutoff for all distances; 50k runners must have started their final lap by 2:30 pm.
