Pick Your Poison Trail Run is an ultra trail race held annually in April in the Copeland Forest near Barrie, Ontario, at the Heights of Horseshoe / The Heights Ski & Country Club. The 2026 edition takes place on April 25, 2026. The race operates as a not-for-profit event with proceeds supporting local social service organizations, Copeland Forest Friends, and mental health programs. Event capacity is 450 runners, with 150 entries allocated to each distance.

- 12.5k - one loop
- 25k - two loops
- 50k - four loops
Each loop is approximately 12.5 km, is about 98% trail, and includes roughly 343 m of climbing. The course features single-track mountain-bike trails, cross-country ski trails, ski-hill climbs and descents, and three aid stations per loop. Aid stations stock water, pop, electrolytes (Hammer Nutrition Heed), gels, candy, chips, pickles and sometimes fruit, PB&J and hot soup. The race is cupless to reduce single-use waste; participants are encouraged to use reusable containers and hydration systems. Participant kits include a local jar of honey and a shirt; finishers who complete their registered distance receive event socks. Registration is first-come, first-served with a waitlist used when categories sell out. Deferrals and distance transfers are allowed under the event’s stated policies.
