Petzl Night Trails 10K - Salcey Forest
This is a trail 10k held at Salcey Forest, NN7 2HX. The route is fully marked and run as two laps on mainly crushed stone; tree detritus can make sections slippery or muddy after wet weather. The course is essentially flat, with small rises that feel noticeable over 10k.
A head or chest torch is required to take part. Petzl will attend with demo head torches available to try before, during or after the event. Water and electrolyte will be provided on course in biodegradable cups, and hot drinks will be available before and after the run.
Canicross is accommodated. Canicross runners are started separately from the main field; handlers should assess whether a mass start environment suits their dog. Entrants wishing to run with a dog must enter the canicross category.
Practical details include a negotiated evening parking fee of £3.50 and the venue postcode for sat navs. The organiser operates tiered entry pricing: before 20/10/2026 the price is £16, thereafter £21; unaffiliated entrants pay an additional £2. There is a charity option during registration to support Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
