Petzl Night Trails 10K : Salcey Forest (21 November 2025)

Entry uses tiered pricing: before 21/10/2025 £16, after 21/10/2025 £21; unaffiliated entrants pay an extra £2. Finishers receive a medal and goodies, with an alternative Big Bear Tree Token offered instead of a medal; each token results in a tree being planted and contains wildflower seeds. Salcey Forest is a Forestry Commission site with a cafe and toilets; use postcode NN7 2HX for navigation. Parking requires a fee; organisers have negotiated an evening rate of £3.50. The site is near Northampton and close to Junction 15 of the M1; the nearest train station is Northampton. A head or chest torch is required to run. Petzl will attend with demo head torches. The marked route is essentially a two-lap trail on crushed stone; fallen leaves and tree detritus can make sections slippery or muddy. Canicross is permitted, with canicross runners started separately from the main field. Biodegradable cups and hot drinks will be available.
