This is the Petzl Night Trails 10k run at Salcey Forest. It is a night trail running event. A mandatory head torch or chest torch is required to participate.

Course Information

Canicross Event

A separate canicross race (running with a dog) is offered. Canicross participants start 10 minutes before the main field in a mass start.

The event is held in partnership with Petzl, a manufacturer of head torches. Petzl representatives will be present with demo equipment for runners to try. A partnership with Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity allows participants to donate or fundraise. Instead of a finisher's medal, participants can opt for a 'Big Bear Tree Token,' which results in a tree being planted and contains wildflower seeds. Drinks are provided in biodegradable cups on course, with hot drinks available before and after the event.
