Spring Run - Northampton

Circuit Running is holding a spring run event at Northampton Active. The event is a six hour challenge in which participants may complete distances from 5 km up to an ultramarathon. Runners may start a final lap up to 5:59:59; finishing after six hours is permitted if the final lap was started within that time.

The course is made up of laps of a 4.37 mile circuit with a 5 km turn point. Distances map to lap counts as described by the organiser.

At the end of each lap there will be an aid table providing water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Finishers will receive a Spring Run medal and a five piece goody bag.

Facilities at the venue include toilets but no separate changing rooms or showers. There is parking at the venue. A bag drop will be available near the start / finish area but it is not a secure storage facility.

The event is held on public footpaths and participants are asked to be considerate of other path users. The run is licensed by the TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules. Maximum permitted distances under the rules vary by age: ages 12-13 - 5,000 m; 14-15 - 6,000 m; 16 - 10,000 m; 17 - 25,000 m; 18-19 - 45,000 m; age 20 and over - no maximum distance.
