Northants 5K Series - Desborough (Race 2 at West Lodge Farm)
This event is a multi-terrain 5 km race through parks, fields and woodland at West Lodge Rural Centre in Desborough, Northamptonshire. The course explores nature trails on the grounds of West Lodge Farm Park, which the organiser describes as an award winning farm park with animal residents visible along parts of the route.
All finishers receive a bespoke 5K Race medal; each race in the series has a different medal to collect. Runners who cannot attend in person may complete the race virtually and receive the event medal by post provided they are registered for that race.
Entry fees are shown as £15.00 or £17.00 with a non-refundable booking fee of £1.50. The lower entry fee applies to participants affiliated to UK Athletics. The minimum age for entry is 11 years; entrants aged 11 and 12 must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant on race day. Car parking at West Lodge Park is free.
Race packs for the whole series and race numbers are collected on race day. Event headquarters for this race is in the picnic area, a wooden undercover structure. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub before the event. A mobile medical crew will be on standby and toilet facilities are available.
