Race 2 Northants 5K Series 2026 - Desborough
Race 2 of the Northants 5 km Series takes place at West Lodge Rural Centre in Desborough. The event uses multi terrain routes that pass through fields, nature trails, parks and woodlands at the farm park location. The course may include views of onsite animals as runners pass parts of the farm park.
Entry closes at 23:59 on Tuesday 12th May. Entry fees are shown as £15.00 or £17.00 plus a non refundable booking fee of £1.50, with the lower fee applying to runners affiliated to UKA. Free car parking is available at West Lodge Park.
Race packs for the series and race numbers are collected on race day from Event HQ in the picnic area, a wooden undercover structure. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub before race day. Toilet facilities are available at West Lodge Farm. A mobile medical crew will be on standby during the event. Participants are asked to provide their own race refreshments; a cafe will be open before the event and there will be BBQ food on offer afterwards.
The event awards a bespoke 5 km medal to finishers, with a postal medal option for those who complete a race virtually if they are signed up to that race. Min age 11 years, and 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
