The Nene Valley Trail Run takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Castle Farm Campsite in Fotheringhay, Peterborough (PE8 5HZ). The event offers off-road trail races over the following distances:

  • 10 miles
  • 20 miles

Both routes are fully marked and marshalled. Aid stations are described as well stocked. The courses run on easy tracks and paths through rolling Northamptonshire countryside, including green fields, bluebell woodlands, rivers, disused railway tracks and small villages.

Practical information

Entries open on 16 June 2025 and close on 11 June 2026. Entry fees are £33 for the 10 mile race and £44 for the 20 mile race. Camping is available at the campsite on the Friday and Saturday nights; there are no showers, but portaloos are provided and a river is adjacent to the site. Participants are asked to bring their own cup or water bottle for use at water stations.

The organiser will donate £1 from every entry to Kings Cliffe Active, a local charity. There are no refunds, but places may be transferred to another person via the entry system; an optional XCover product is available to provide a possible refund in some circumstances.
