Nene Valley Trail Run

The Nene Valley Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday 13 June 2026 at Castle Farm Campsite, Fotheringhay, Peterborough, PE8 5HZ. Entries open Monday 16 June 2025 and close Thursday 11 June 2026. The event offers two off-road distances:

  • 10 miles
  • 20 miles

Entry fees are £33.00 for the 10 mile race and £44.00 for the 20 mile race. £1 from every entry will be donated to Kings Cliffe Active, a local charity. A T-shirt or a Trees not Tees donation is available as an extra when booking. Camping is available on the Friday and Saturday nights and can be booked through the event entry system.

Course and facilities

Both routes start at Castle Farm Campsite and follow marked, marshalled tracks and paths through the local area. The courses pass green fields, ancient bluebell woodlands, rivers, disused railway tracks and quiet old villages. Aid stations are described as well stocked; participants are asked to bring their own cup or water bottle for water stations to reduce single-use waste.

There are no showers on site; a river is adjacent and clean portaloos are provided. The event does not offer refunds, but entries may be transferred to another person via the entry system.
