The Colworth Marathon Challenge is a three-day running event set in the Colworth Estate in North Bedfordshire, UK. The three races together total 26.2 miles. The event offers free camping and family entertainment, and there are children’s races as part of the weekend.

Races and format

Runners may enter one, two, or all three races. The distances are:

  • 5 miles - Colworth 5, multi-terrain
  • 8.1 miles - Colworth Trail, cross country
  • 13.1 miles - Colworth Half Marathon, multi-terrain

The races combine to give a marathon distance when all three are completed.

The event is organised by Colworth Striders and is supported by Unilever and Colworth Science Park. The base for the event is Colworth Sports & Social Club, Sharnbrook, MK44 1LB.
