Colworth Marathon Challenge
The Colworth Marathon Challenge is a sequence of three races held over three consecutive days at Colworth Club in Sharnbrook. The three events together equal a full marathon distance. Races may be entered individually or in any combination.
- 5 mile run : age 16 and over.
- 8.1 mile trail race : age 18 and over.
- Half marathon : age 18 and over.
Entry fees are listed per race with a combined price offered for all three events and a single £2 surcharge for non affiliated runners under ARC race permits. Race numbers are held for collection on the day.
Venue facilities include toilets, on site parking, refreshments, limited changing and shower facilities, and free camping that must be booked through the event camping booking. Children’s races and a U16 fun run are held on the day and there is entertainment for children on the Friday evening. Food is available on the Friday evening.
Dog policy differs by race: dogs on a short lead, starting at the back of the field, are allowed for the 5 mile run at a maximum of one dog per runner; dogs are not permitted in the trail race or the half marathon.
