The Humanity Direct Tring Ultra is a one-day trail event on 20 September 2025, starting and finishing at Tring Cricket Club (HP23 5NG) in the Chilterns, Hertfordshire. Distances offered are:

  • 10 km

Ascent gain varies by distance, reported between 135 m and 597 m. The route passes through Ashridge Forest, alongside the Grand Union Canal and through Wendover Woods, using National Trails and footpaths. The full 50 km option carries 2 ITRA points.

Logistics and support

The event supports the charity Humanity Direct; entry may be free for participants who commit to fundraising, otherwise standard entry fees apply and entry fees can be donated to the charity. Organisers state that 100 percent of donations go to children’s operations and medical care. The minimum age for entry is 18.

Included on race day are transport to and from Tring station, free parking at the cricket club, a marked route, full medical cover, finishers medals, toilets, showers and changing facilities, checkpoint food and water at regular intervals, free tea, coffee and cake at the finish, and action photos en route. The full ultra has four checkpoints, the half ultra has two, and the 10 km route has no checkpoints. Compulsory kit is a fully charged mobile phone and at least 500 ml of water.
