PECO XC League Race 5 : Roundhay Park, Leeds

This is the fifth race in the PECO Cross Country League series, held at Roundhay Park in Leeds. The race is part of a league for clubs affiliated to the PECO XC League and covers an undulating cross country course of approximately 4.5 to 5.0 miles.

Advance online entry for club members who are registered with England Athletics is priced at £7.00; that online entry provides access to the remaining league races plus the end of season relays and the League presentation evening. Race numbers are collected at Registration on the morning of the race; replacements for lost or damaged senior numbers are available at Race HQ for £3. Entry conditions require competitors to be paid members of a club affiliated to England Athletics. Affiliated members of non-League clubs may run as guests; unattached runners are not permitted. Only advance entries count toward league scoring.

The course is undulating and not suitable for wheelchairs. Race HQ and registration are alongside The Mansion at Roundhay Park. Facilities listed for the event include toilets; there are no water stations, no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. Lets Motor along the Towpath in Rodley is a canal-side trail event on a flat towpath with distances from 10k to ultramarathon. The course is signed and marshalled, has regular feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.
