Course, entry and facilities

The course is a single lap cross country of about 4.5–5.0 miles with an undulating profile. The event has an entry limit of 2,000 and the race licence is listed as applied for. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Season tickets must be purchased online and cost £17; a season ticket provides entry to the remaining races, the end-of-season relays and the League presentation evening. All entrants are allocated a race number with a timing chip which must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £3 for seniors. Only advance entries count as League "counters"; entrants defined as guests do not contribute to team scores or earn points in the individual series. Facilities at Race HQ include toilets. There are no water stations, no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
