The Paris Mountain Half Marathon is a trail race held in Paris Mountain State Park in Greenville, South Carolina. The event takes place in the fall, allowing participants to experience local forests and vibrant seasonal foliage. The course is designed as a single loop that features diverse terrain, including single-track trails, wide switchbacks, and views of three lakes with waterfalls.
The race follows a challenging route with approximately 2,300 feet of total elevation gain. The course takes participants through the heart of the park's landscape, involving steep ascents and two primary climbs to reach the park’s higher peaks. This event is part of the Upstate Trail Series and is open to both runners and hikers.

The event is managed as a cup-less race, and participants are required to bring their own hydration vessels. Aid stations are situated at mile 4.6 and mile 10.4, offering water, soda, and snacks such as pickles, cookies, and pretzels. Registration includes park entry, a finisher medal, custom race bibs, and professional race photography. Post-race activities feature music and shared meals, including pancakes for finishers. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age group categories ranging from under 9 to over 80.
