Enoree, United States • 21 Nov 2026

Event overview

Long Night In Lanford is a dusk-to-dawn trail event held in Enoree, SC (210 Service Dr). The event starts at dusk and finishes at dawn. To be recorded as a finisher, a participant must complete the first lap at dusk and the final lap at dawn; the participant with the most laps by sunrise is the winner. There are no cut-off times and no speed requirements; participants may walk, jog, or run. Strollers and pets are not permitted.

Course and format

  • 1 mile loop

The course is a 1-mile off-road loop that begins at a barn on gravel, drops downhill into woods, crosses an open field along Beaverdam Creek, goes through pine trees and hay pastures, and returns to the barn on gravel. The terrain is uneven and the route may include wildlife. Runners should bring their own light source for night running; headlamps and flashlights are used after sunset. Horn blasts mark the start, a midnight direction change, and the final lap at dawn.

Logistics and services

Gates and packet pickup are available on the day of the event. An aid station will be stocked with snacks, water, and hot food throughout the night. There is space for tents and crew setups. Professional race photos, a hot breakfast at sunrise, awards for top finishers, and t-shirts (guaranteed for registrations by October 15) are provided. Registration closes on Fri, Nov 20.
