Long Night In Lanford, Enoree SC
Long Night In Lanford is an overnight trail event held on a farm near Beaverdam Creek in Enoree, South Carolina. The course is a repeated off-road loop of about 1 mile that begins and ends at a barn on gravel and passes downhill into woods, across an open field, through pine trees and hay pastures, and back to the barn. The route includes uneven terrain and typical wildlife for a rural fall night.
The event is structured as a dusk-to-dawn lap challenge. A finisher must complete a lap during the initial low light and a final lap after night turns to morning. Horn blasts will mark the race start, a direction change during the night, and the final lap. Participants require personal lighting; headlamps and flashlights are used throughout the night. Aid station service is available all night with snacks, water, and hot food.
No strollers or pets are allowed. Camping space and crew setups are available on site; gates open on Saturday and packet pickup is scheduled in the afternoon. Post-event services include professional race photos, a hot breakfast at sunrise, awards for top finishers, and T-shirts for those registered by October 15. Registration closes on Friday, November 20 at 4:00 PM ET. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
