Long Night In Lanford : November 21, 2026

Long Night In Lanford is a dusk-to-dawn trail event in Enoree, South Carolina, held at 210 Service Dr on November 21, 2026. The event uses a 1-mile off-road loop that starts and ends at a barn on gravel, runs downhill into woods, crosses an open field along Beaverdam Creek, passes through pine trees and hay pastures, and returns to the barn. The course has uneven terrain and local wildlife.

Format and logistics

Participants must complete the first lap at dusk and the final lap at dawn to be counted as finishers. The winner is the participant who completes the most laps by sunrise. There are no cut-off times and no speed requirements. Night running is done with personal headlamps or flashlights; horn blasts mark the race start, a direction change at midnight, and the final lap at dawn. The aid station will supply snacks, water, and hot food through the night. No strollers or pets are allowed on the course.

Gates open midday on Saturday and packet pickup is available earlier the same day. Hot breakfast and professional race photos are provided after the event. T-shirts are guaranteed for entrants who register by October 15. Registration closes on November 20, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
