Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer
The Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The event combines a cross-country fun run and a 5K race to raise funds for Upstate children through Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas. Last year the event raised more than $65,000 for local families during treatment.
Two race options are offered:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration opens May 15, 2026, and closes June 30, 2026. Published registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1 Mile event. Race shirts are included with registration; a registrant’s shirt size is guaranteed if registration occurs by August 28, with limited availability afterward.
Teams can be created or joined as part of registration. Trophies will be awarded for Most Spirited Team, Largest Team, and Top Fundraising Team. Individual prizes include Top 3 male and female overall and top male and female in the following age groups: 0-16, 17-34, 35-54, 55-69, and 70 plus.
