The 2026 Asheville Spartan Event Weekend takes place Aug 1-2, 2026 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina. The venue is an equestrian facility that hosts many events and includes nearby lodging, food and entertainment in the village.
The course uses well-trodden horse trails and includes red clay hill climbs and creek beds. Multiple obstacles are placed along the routes to test dexterity and endurance. An obstacle workshop is scheduled for Jul 31 before race weekend. Spectator access is listed for Aug 1.

- Sprint 5 km : 20 obstacles, average completion about 1 hour 32 minutes
- Super 10 km : 25 obstacles
- Kids Race 1–3 km : obstacles for younger participants
