Twilight Trail 5K at Kanuga Conference Center

The Twilight Trail 5K is a trail race held at the Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina (130 Kanuga Chapel Drive). The course covers a 5 kilometer distance on mixed surfaces with gentle elevation changes, presenting an introduction to trail running alongside features that will interest experienced trail runners.

The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. In-person entries include a race bib with chip timing, a finisher medal, complimentary race photos and a goody bag. Virtual participants can run on their own course and receive the finisher medal and race shirt by mail where applicable.

Race registrations include a free race shirt for those who register by the stated deadline; shirts remain available afterward in limited sizes for purchase. Children ages 12 and under have discounted registration pricing through the announced date, with different pricing after that date.

Pre-event packet pickup is available at the Kanuga Conference Center. After the race, participants can expect food offerings, a bonfire when weather permits, and a relaxed community atmosphere.

The weekend also includes the Kanuga Trail and Tri Weekend Challenge, which combines this 5K with the Kanuga Triathlon the following day. Weekend challengers receive finisher medals for both events, special recognition, and a Nomadix-style performance towel.
