Yonah Mountain Vertical Challenge

Cleveland, United States • 21-22 Feb 2026

Yonah Mountain Vertical Challenge is a multi-distance trail ascent at the Yonah Mountain Trailhead in Cleveland, GA. Registration offers four options: 5,000 ft of climbing over 3 summits (about 25 km), 10,000 ft over 6 summits (about 50 km), a Double Up weekend (15,000 ft, 75 km), and a 10,000 ft 50K relay. Runners ascend Yonah via the hiking trail to the summit, then repeat out-and-back legs to accumulate distance and vert, with an overlook near the top.

The course is technical and steep, with scrambling in places; a gravel road start thins the field. Cup-less, mandatory gear, full aid, no pacing or crew, and an after-party at NoFo Brew Co. New for 2025: a two-day format and a relay option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
