Lady of the Lake is an annual timed trail event held at Vogel State Park, 405 Vogel State Park Rd, Blairsville, GA. The race uses a 1 mile loop around Lake Trahlyta at the base of Coosa and Blood mountains. Participants choose between a 4 hour or 8 hour division and may run as many complete laps as they wish within their chosen time. The trail surface is mainly hard-pack pea gravel with some single track and a very short paved section. Proceeds will benefit Vogel State Park.
Logistics and entries
An aid station at the start/finish will provide water, Gatorade, Coke and typical aid foods (bananas, oranges, cookies, chips, candy, PB&J, grilled cheese). This is a cupless race; participants must carry their own water bottle or hydration pack. Race entry includes a jacket and a finisher medal; shirt orders close on Oct 14. Awards go to the top three male and female finishers by most complete laps in each division; no partial laps are counted. Registration closes Wed, Nov 11 at 11:59 PM ET.
