Lady of the Lake - Blairsville, GA

The Lady at the Lake is an annual timed-lap event held on a 1 mile trail loop around Lake Trahlyta at Vogel State Park, located at the base of Coosa and Blood mountains near Blairsville, GA. The event offers 8 hour and 4 hour race divisions; participants complete as many full laps as they choose within their chosen time period. The trail is described as gently rolling and runnable, composed of hard pack pea gravel, some single track, and a short paved section. Proceeds from the event will benefit Vogel State Park.

An aid station at the start/finish provides typical aid foods including bananas, oranges, cookies, chips, candy, PB&J, and grilled cheese, plus water, Gatorade, and Coke. The race is cupless; runners are asked to carry their own water bottle or hydration pack.

Race entry includes a jacket and a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female runners who complete the most complete laps in each of the 4 hour and 8 hour divisions; partial laps do not count. The shirt deadline is Oct 14. A raffle at the event will select ten runners (five men and five women) to represent Revolution Running for the 2027 racing year; to be eligible a runner must register and participate in the 4 hour or 8 hour race at Lady of the Lake.

Lodging options listed include Vogel State Park cabins and camping, Blood Mountain Cabins, and a Blue Ridge lodging provider. A route map is available. Registration closes Wed, Nov 11 at 11:59 PM ET. Runners may receive a 100% refund until three months before the race date; after that no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
