Mt. Tam Wild Boar Half Marathon & 10K : April 25, 2026
The event takes place at Mt Tamalpais State Park in Mill Valley, California, and is limited to 300 participants. It offers two distances and uses a combination of paved roadways and dirt single-track trails along a coastal ridge.

The course starts at Rock Springs and follows Ridgecrest Boulevard along the spine of Bolinas Ridge. Runners will encounter rolling single-track trails and sections of paved road with views of Bolinas Lagoon, the Pacific Ocean and the Marin County watershed. The 10K route turns left at Willow Camp Trail and returns to Rock Springs via the Coastal Trail. The Half Marathon continues to Bolinas/Fairfax Road before also returning on the Coastal Trail.
Course details include orange ribbon markings, a course monitor to direct 10K runners, and a designated turnaround sign for the half. Aid stations are located at mile 5 for the 10K and at miles 2.35, 7 and 12 for the half; food and drink will be available at the finish. The course cut-off time is 3 hours; hikers and walkers are permitted. Runners are advised to carry water.
Bibs are mailed beginning two weeks before the race; bib pickup is available on race morning if needed. Parking is at the Rock Springs parking area in Mt Tamalpais State Park. Headphones and other audio devices are not allowed on course. T-shirts are provided to all participants, medals are awarded to all half marathon finishers, and personalized award ribbons for top three male and female finishers in each age group will be mailed after the event. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable; refund protection must be purchased at checkout and rollover credit may be available if the organizer is contacted by March 25, 2026.
