The Mount Cheaha 50K is an annual ultramarathon held in Delta, Alabama, finishing at the summit of Cheaha Mountain, the highest point in Alabama at 2,407 feet. This point-to-point trail race covers 31.6 miles, with 80% of the course on scenic single-track trails through Talladega National Forest, including the Pinhoti, Skyway, and Silent Trails. Runners experience diverse terrain featuring scenic overlooks, creek crossings, lakes, waterfalls, and hardwood and pine forests. The event offers six aid stations and a challenging course with a 9.5-hour time limit.
