McClellan Madness
McClellan Madness is an endurance trail event held on March 6, 2027 in Anniston, Alabama, organized by Dirty Soles Trail Races. The race uses the McClellan Bike Trails trailhead at 460 Brigadier D H Stem Ave as the start and finish location.
The format offers timed running over repeated loops on a natural trail. The course is a single-track loop of about 4.1 miles, mostly runnable with a few rocks and not technical. Elevation gain is approximately 300 feet per loop.

Aid and race services include a self-serve full aid station at the start/finish with stocked snacks and vegan options, plus grilled cheese and vegan grilled cheese. Organizers will man and serve water, Coke, ginger ale and Tailwind. Participants may set up a personal aid station at the start/finish, at their vehicle, on the grass or at the outdoor amphitheater. This is a cupless event.
Perks and awards: every participant who completes at least one loop receives a custom finisher poker chip. The male and female in each format who cover the greatest distance receive overall awards; ties are decided by who reached the distance fastest.
Administrative notes: packet pickup is available on race day only. Registration fees listed range from USD 31.00 to USD 36.50. The organizer reduced the entry price for this edition and removed the guaranteed shirt option; shirts may be offered later if funds permit.
