Moray Way 100 Relay

Forres, United Kingdom • 27 Jun 2026

Event overview

The Moray Way Relay is a team relay covering the full Moray Way route, a distance of 100 miles (approximately). Teams of up to four runners share the distance, and teams with fewer than four members may allocate more legs to each runner. Entry is limited to 30 teams. The race has a 24 hour cutoff and an early bird team entry price of £150. Entrants must be at least 16 years old. The organiser provides GPX files and maps for the full route.

Format and logistics

The course is divided into 12 sections with handovers at specific checkpoints. Each team must assign every member at least three legs. The organiser states a minimum individual distance of 18 km. A tracker is issued and used as the team baton to allow accurate tracking of runners. Teams can use up to four vehicles to move between checkpoints; handover locations and GPX files show checkpoint positions.
