Moray Way 100 Relay

The Moray Way 100 relay is a team event held on Saturday 27 June 2026 that covers the full Moray Way route, a distance of approximately 100 miles. Teams of up to four runners share the distance; teams may contain fewer members and remaining runners cover additional legs. The route passes through forests, coastline trails, hills and sandy beaches and starts and finishes in Forres.

The course is divided into 12 sections with handovers at designated checkpoints. Each team assigns runners to legs provided every runner completes at least three legs, unless the team has fewer than four members. Teams can change their planned leg assignments prior to race day with advance notice to the organisers. Night running will be required for some runners.

Entry requirements include a minimum age of 16 and completion of at least 18 km within the 24 hour cutoff if aiming to finish within the overall time limit. Team entry is capped at 30 teams. Early bird entry is listed at £150 per team. GPX files and a full route map are provided by the organisers for navigation.

Competition categories include All Men, All Women and Mixed teams with two or more women. Divisions include Open, Masters, Corporate and Military or Public Service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
