Marquette Trails Festival : Marquette South Trails, June 26–28, 2026
The Marquette Trails Festival is a three-day event of mountain bike and trail running races held at Marquette South Trails. The program includes a variety of formats: dual slalom with timed seeding and head-to-head elimination, criterium races on a short loop, enduro stages with timed downhill runs, cross country courses of different lengths, and trail runs including a half marathon-style Twin Peaks course.
Youth events are offered; youth competitions are for participants aged 16 and under, and the competitive youth dual slalom specifically notes ages 8 to 16. Many race formats use timed seeding runs to determine brackets or start order. Several mountain-bike races specify that E bikes are not allowed to be raced. Podium or category awards are listed for multiple bike events and age groups.
Participants in festival events receive a commemorative Marquette Trails Festival hat (one hat per participant even if competing in multiple events). Event proceeds are designated to support NTN singletrack trail building. The festival spans multiple race types, distances, and technical levels across the South Trails and Marquette Mountain areas.
