Loop The Hooch 50K/25K/Team Relay

Loop The Hooch is a trail running event at Chattahoochee Pointe Park in Suwanee, Georgia. The course is a winding 5 kilometer gravel and dirt loop along the Chattahoochee River. The organizer describes the route as fast and flat.

Distances offered include:

  • 50K Solo
  • 25K Solo
  • 50K Relay teams up to five runners

The 50K race is run as ten loops of the 5 kilometer circuit. Relay teams divide the ten loops as they prefer; one common approach is one loop per exchange. Every team member receives a bib with a timing chip. A relay transition zone is identified on the course map where the incoming and outgoing runners meet and pass the start/finish together.

For 2026 there are cash prizes for new course records: $500 to each solo runner or team that beats the current 50K course record. The published 50K course record is 3:29:03. The Solo 50K served as an RRCA State Championship race in 2025.

The event location is Chattahoochee Pointe Park, 5790 Chattahoochee Pointe Dr, Suwanee, GA 30024. For 2026, teams are limited to two vehicles maximum at the park to allow parking for all participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
