The Lochore 10k takes place on 12 October 2025 at Lochore Meadows Country Park, Crosshill, Fife (near Lochgelly). The race is a 10k held over two laps around the loch on a multi-terrain route. The course is mostly on hard-packed trails and paths with a short section on road within the park and is described as generally flat. Normal running shoes or trail shoes are suitable. Chip timing is used and every finisher receives a commemorative medal. Participants must be 15 years or older on the day. The start is on the grass area behind the Watersports Centre car park and the route is marshalled and signposted. Total places are 200.
Entry, facilities and results
Registration takes place on race day and is signposted; race numbers are issued at registration. There are toilet facilities and ample parking on site. Prize vouchers are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in male and female categories, and to the 1st place finisher in each age group (male and female), with each runner eligible for only one prize. Results will be published on Run ABC Scotland. The event is not affiliated with Scottish Athletics, so finish times cannot be submitted to Power of 10 or RunBritain for official PB recognition. Entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Organisers reserve the right to modify, cancel or reschedule the event for safety; refunds or deferrals may be offered at their discretion.
