Last Wolf Howling - Mandeville, LA

Last Wolf Howling is a Last Person Standing style backyard ultra held near Mandeville, LA, on private property in White's Crossing, about 6 miles east of Wiggins, MS near HWY 26. The exact site, address and final directions will be released during race week due to a recent venue change.

The course is a wooded, mostly shaded, mostly flat double-track trail laid out as a double-lollipop. Each lap is about 2 miles (listed as a 2.08 mile course) with minimal elevation change. Runners complete one loop every 30 minutes; 24 hours equals 100 miles. Participants must be in the corral at the start of each loop and finish the lap within the 30 minute limit. The race continues until only one runner is able to complete a solo lap. A provision allows the final remaining runner to continue solo to reach 100 miles.

Race services include a fully stocked aid station with meals served throughout the event, snacks and beverages, a community tent area, and porto potties near the start/finish. Crew tent space will be available adjacent to the start area on a first-come basis; a separate tent is reserved for uncrewed runners. Crews may not hand-assist runners on course; assistance on course is permitted only from other runners. Pacers are not allowed.

Official results will show mileage completed; no DNFs will be issued. Runners who complete at least one lap will receive a finisher medal, and those who reach 100 miles or more will receive a buckle. Registration is open but credit card charges will be delayed until the new site is confirmed. Refund and credit policies are available at registration.
