Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails: Seat How
Braithwaite, United Kingdom • 19 Oct 2025
Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails: Seat How is a dog-friendly trail running event in Whinlatter Forest, near Keswick in the Lake District. Season 4 offers two fully marked routes: an 8 km loop with about 360 m of ascent to the summit of Seat How, and a 5 km option that avoids Seat How with around 240 m ascent. The longer route includes narrow, steeper sections where only one dog per runner is allowed, and dogs must be run in a harness; runners may participate without dogs. The event is chip-timed, with marked courses and downloadable GPX files; there are no cut-offs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
