Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails: Seat How
Braithwaite, United Kingdom • 19 Oct 2025
Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails: Seat How is a dog-friendly trail running event held in Whinlatter Forest, near Seat How in the Lake District. Participants choose between two marked routes: an 8-kilometre loop with about 360 metres of ascent to the Seat How summit, and a shorter 5-kilometre option with around 240 metres of ascent. The course blends forest roads and trails; the longer route has narrower, steeper sections that require one dog per runner, using a suitable harness. Runners can participate without dogs. The event is chip-timed, fully marked, with GPX downloads available, and is part of Lakeland Paws Season 4. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
