Lake Tahoe Trail Festival, Zephyr Point

The event is a three day trail running festival based at Zephyr Point, Zephyr Cove, Nevada. Routes use well known Tahoe area trails including the Tahoe Rim Trail, Flume Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail and will include nearby peaks such as Donner Peak and Marlette Peak. Terrain varies between dirt roads, technical single track, flowy trail and rocky sections, with notable elevation gain across the courses.

Each day offers a long and a short route option, allowing participants to choose the distance on the day. Organizers note that specific trails and daily routes are still being finalized with permitting agencies and that daily mileage is approximate; cumulative running distance across the three days can reach about 60 to 70 miles.

The event package is all inclusive and includes lodging and catered meals. Additional included items and services are listed as four nights lodging, catered meals, recovery options such as massage and yoga, event SWAG and finisher medals. Each morning participants are transported by shuttle to the day's start line and are shuttled back to the lakeside headquarters after the finish.
