The Guided Lairig Ghru Crossing is a 32km trail running event through the remote and historic Lairig Ghru pass in the Cairngorms, Scotland. Starting from the Linn of Dee, participants run northward along a route featuring approximately 600 meters of ascent. The course includes well-maintained trails as well as a challenging 5km section of rocky terrain and boulder fields, demanding a good level of fitness and trail running experience. The event is guided, with small teams of up to seven runners led by an experienced guide. A morning transfer from Aviemore is included, enhancing the experience of this iconic high mountain crossing.
