Kunanyi Mountain Run 2026 is a three-day trail running festival held 27-29 March 2026 in Nipaluna / Hobart, Lutruwita / Tasmania. The festival base is Wellesley Park, South Hobart. The event program highlights the cultural and historical significance of Kunanyi and includes activities at a central Runhub. The festival is presented by Salomon and organised by Trail Ventures. The event includes on-course first aid and professional medical support, fully marked courses, live results and tracking, on-course photos, and aid stations for longer races.

Entry and qualification
The Ultra Solo and Alpine Marathon require prior qualifying runs completed since 1 January 2023. Qualifiers must be verifiable online and meet specified distance, elevation and time criteria (for example, a 50 km trail with 1,350 m elevation at no more than 12.5 min/km for men, 14.5 min/km for women, or alternative combinations involving a marathon plus a 19 km trail). Qualifiers must be submitted and approved prior to the event cutoff date. The Run Director or delegate assesses and approves all qualifiers. Registration includes race entry, a unique finisher medal and merch, aid stations (for selected races), drop bags, timing, and access to Runhub activities.
