Kunanyi Mountain Run
Kunanyi Mountain Run is a three-day trail festival held 27-29 March 2026 in Nipaluna / Hobart, Lutruwita / Tasmania. The event is presented by Salomon and produced by Trail Ventures. The 2026 edition is the fifth running of the festival. The event program includes a Runhub with runner check-in, food and beverage, an expo, cultural activities, and on-course aid and medical support. The organisers acknowledge the Palawa people as the traditional owners of the land.

Qualification and inclusions
The Ultra Solo and Alpine Marathon require prior running qualifications completed since 1 January 2023. Qualifying options include a minimum 50 km trail run with 1,350 m elevation at set pace limits, or a road marathon plus a mainly single-track trail run of at least 19 km and 700 m elevation. Qualifiers must be verifiable online and are assessed by the Run Director.
Registration includes race entry, a unique finishers medal and merch, fully marked courses, aid stations for specified events, first aid and event medical support, professional timing, live results and tracking, on-course photos, drop bags, and trail maintenance.
