The King of the Mountain race is scheduled for 28 June 2026 at Helena Valley Primary School. The course distance is 16.1 km. Registration is available online until Saturday, 27 June 2026 at 11:50 PM or until entries sell out. A late-registration penalty applies from the Saturday before the event for non-members only.

Course

The race is a loop that starts and finishes at Helena Valley Primary School. The main loop runs anticlockwise up the mountain on the north side of the valley. The route includes a creek crossing, a detour south of Helena Valley Road on the return, and some steep ascents and descents. After the run, participants are offered a cup of hot soup.
