About the race
The Feral Pig Ultra is a multi-distance trail event on the Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia, held on Saturday 7 November 2026. The race runs between North Bannister and Kalamunda and finishes at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre in Mundaring.
This event offers several distances with published elevation gain and maximum allowed time for each:
- FERAL PIG : 160 km, +4,291 m elevation, 40 hours
- WILD SWINE : 104 km, +2,993 m elevation, 34 hours
- BOAR : 84 km, +2,370 m elevation, 34 hours
- SOW : 53 km, +1,473 m elevation, 28 hours
- PORK CHOP : 23 km, +730 m elevation, 8 hours
- PIGLET : 5 km, +145 m elevation, 6 hours
Aid support includes eight fully manned, full-service aid stations and three unmanned water stations. Drop bags and shuttle buses are permitted for ultra distances only; drop bags must be labelled and are available for collection after the race. Mandatory gear is required for safety and visibility. Pacers are permitted for the 100 mile event only, with up to three pacers per runner and specific rendezvous legs. Entry limits apply: up to 350 entries across ultra distances, 150 entries for the 23 km race, and a combined cap of 500 runners. Aid station cut-offs and an overall event cut-off are enforced for safety. The event is part of the Ultra Series and includes UTMB Index accreditation for several distances.
