Feral Pig Ultra - Race overview
Feral Pig Ultra is a trail ultramarathon held on the Bibbulmun Track between North Bannister and Kalamunda, finishing at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre in Mundaring, Western Australia. The event is scheduled for Saturday 7 November 2026. The course runs across rugged, varied terrain and includes significant climbs and valley sections. Mandatory safety gear is required for all entrants and specific gear lists are published by the organisers.
Logistics include check in at the Feral Village at Perth Hills Discovery Centre for every participant. Drop bags are permitted for ultra distances at all aid stations and are collected after the race. Shuttle buses are provided for ultra distances from the Feral Village to the start line. There are nine fully manned aid stations plus up to three unmanned water stations along the course. Each aid station has an enforced cut off time and all distances must reach the finish by the overall event cut off.
Pacers are permitted for the 100 Miler only; up to three pacers are allowed and they may only join or leave at crewed aid stations. Entry limits are set at 350 for ultra distances, 150 for the 23 km race, and a combined total of 500 runners across all events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
