Feral Pig Ultra - Race information

The Feral Pig Ultra is a multi-distance trail event held on the Bibbulmun Track between North Bannister and Kalamunda, finishing at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre in Mundaring, Western Australia. The course runs through varied terrain, including technical climbs and valley trails, and passes through protected areas where access for crew and spectators is limited to approved locations.

Logistics include mandatory gear for safety and visibility, nine fully manned aid stations plus up to three unmanned water stations, permitted drop bags for ultra distances, and shuttle buses from the Feral Village to the start for ultra runners. Each aid station has a strict cut-off time and an overall event cut-off is enforced for safety. Pacers are permitted only for 100 mile runners, limited to three per runner and allowed to change only at crewed aid stations; pacers must carry mandatory gear except the map.

Entry policy notes limited fields and transfer rules: a combined limit of 500 runners across all events, 350 for ultra distances and 150 for the 23 km race. Refunds and rollovers are not available but entries may be transferred between runners under set conditions.
