Event Overview

The Feral Pig Ultra is a trail ultramarathon that takes place on the Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026. The course is set between North Bannister and Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, finishing at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre in Mundaring.

Distances

The event offers several race distances:

  • Feral Pig 100 Miler: 162.26 km with 4,245 meters of elevation gain. The total time allowed is 40 hours.
  • Wild Swine 100K: 104.44 km with 2,962 meters of elevation gain. The total time allowed is 34 hours.
  • Boar 50 Miler: 84.22 km with 2,345 meters of elevation gain. The total time allowed is 34 hours.
  • Sow 50K: 53.01 km with 1,461 meters of elevation gain. The total time allowed is 28 hours.
  • Pork Chop 23K: 22.7 km with 721 meters of elevation gain. The total time allowed is 8 hours.
  • Kids Piglet 5K: A 5 km trail run for participants aged 6 to 17, with a 2-hour time limit.

Key Details

All participants must check in at the Feral Village at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre before their race. Drop bags are permitted for runners in the ultra distances (100 Miler, 100K, 50 Miler, 50K). A shuttle bus service to the start line is provided for ultra-distance runners, while 23K participants must arrange their own transport.

The course features nine fully manned aid stations, with up to three additional unmanned water stations. Each aid station has a cut-off time, and all distances must finish by the overall event cut-off of 4:00 PM on Sunday. Pacers are permitted only for the 100 Miler distance.
