Wallygrunta (Perth Trail Series)

Wallygrunta takes place on 4 January 2026 at Walyunga Pool Carpark, Walyunga Rd, Bullsbrook, WA 6084. The event is organised by Perth Trail Series. Entry fees range from $30 to $97. The event village is located at the start/finish area and includes DJ music, food trucks and BBQ facilities. Course markings are provided and a mandatory event briefing is held before each race. An event brief email is sent to entrants on the Wednesday before the event. Registration remains open until the Tuesday before the event unless sold out earlier. Bib pickup is race day only at the start/finish.

Courses, distances and entry rules

The event uses a colour-coded course system with the following distance ranges:

• Green: 4–6 km on remote trail
• Blue: 9–12 km on remote trail
• Black: 12–16 km on remote trail

Ticket prices listed for this event include: Black $87, Blue $77, Green $64, PTS Kids/Teens/U16 Blue $37, and PTS Kids/Teens/U16 Green $30.

Minimum age and progression requirements for children:

• Green: minimum age 6; under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
• Blue: minimum age 12; child must have completed three Green events and be accompanied by a parent/guardian the first time.
• Black: minimum age 16; child must have completed three Blue events and be accompanied by a parent/guardian the first time.
