Event overview

The Manning Park Trail Run is organised by Friends of the Community as a volunteer-led fundraiser. The event takes place at Manning Park in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia on 19 October 2025. One hundred percent of event proceeds support a local charity and the Friends of the Community Youth Scholarship Fund to help young people in the local area.

The event is presented as a community activity that highlights the natural and historic features of Manning Park.

Course, entries and fees

The event offers two course options:

The course includes the Manning Park Stairs, which have 192 steps, and a climb to a viewpoint with views of the Indian Ocean and Rottnest Island. The 10 km route adds an extra loop that includes a second ascent of the stairs and returns to a finish area near the lake.
